Meet Dr. Diana Caballero-Cabral
Licensed Clinical Psychologist | PSY 35314

As a psychologist, I view therapy as a powerful space for healing, connection, and growth. My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive, guided by the belief that every person’s story deserves to be heard with compassion and care. I walk alongside children, teens, adults, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges, and I deeply value the resilience and wisdom each person brings into the room.

I earned my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, with a focus in Child and Family Therapy. My clinical training has been broad and immersive. I’ve worked in schools, hospitals, integrated health centers, and community mental health settings, including Kaiser Permanente, Lawndale Christian Health Center, and La Familia Counseling Services. I’ve provided care to children as young as three, teens, adults, parents, and older adults, supporting them through anxiety, trauma, depression, parenting challenges, neurodiversity, and significant life transitions.

I offer therapy in both English and Spanish and have a deep commitment to supporting monolingual Spanish-speaking families. I also provide Christian faith-based counseling for clients who wish to incorporate their spiritual values into their therapy. My work is grounded in evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and trauma-informed care. I’m certified in Prepare/Enrich and enjoy working with couples to strengthen their connection and communication.

Outside of my clinical work, I’ve presented at professional conferences, researched Latinx parenting, and led mental health workshops in schools and community settings. When I’m not in session, you’ll likely find me exploring a sunny trail with my dogs, enjoying a good brunch, or reconnecting with loved ones. I’m proud to be a San Francisco native and honored to support individuals and families in this vibrant, diverse community.
